This illustration was created as styleframe of a storyboard. The studio liked the illustration and decided to apply it to our clientβs Promax BDA book for 2010. The illustration and other parts of the storyboard made it on to the cover of the book, DVD case, take-away, and other branded elements.

βA Burialβ
The goal of this project was to explore the effects of soils on substrate in different locations of relatively close proximity (30 mile radius) in a graphic way. Paper was buried about 6β12β below the surface and exhumed one week later. A log of conditions, coordinates, and weather was kept and effects of the soils were documented and compiled into a trifold with a photograph description of each environment. This project with informational booklet and three paper pieces was displayed in the Mason Gross Studio Galleries at Rutgers University.

The three retrieved pieces. A fourth was buried, but did not survive.

A compilation of some of my design work from my senior thesis course at MGSA bound in book format. The book contained the written thesis and a reformatted version of all related projects. Additionally, other design work such as print advertisements created for The Daily Targum were clipped and bound into the book. The outer cover was constructed of cardboard that was silk screen-printed, cut, and folded to encase the book. The final book contained pages of substrate including newsprint, construction paper, coated, and uncoated papers, creating a varied tactile experience for the reader.
